Research Recap: High Power Laser Therapy for Proximal Hamstring Tendinopathy |

Hamstring tendinopathy can be a game-stopper for athletes. Recent research reveals the role of high power laser therapy (HPLT) in relieving pain associated with proximal hamstring tendinopathy (PHT) symptoms. |
The study demonstrated that HPLT, also known as Photobiomodulation Therapy (PBMT), is more effective than a conventional therapy program at reducing pain from PHT. HPLT/PBMT reduced the average pain score to a mild level, and this decrease in pain may also have resulted in functional improvements for the athlete.
